Piotr & Ren

Few perks that comes with having a wedding party at your own home. You can really personalized everything to your hearts content, you can party till the wee hours and not to mention that it feels really personal and cozy since you're having the celebration in the comfort of your own home. Oh yes...did I also mention you can have a lion dance performance too.

Little Princess Charmaine

I came to know about the plight of Little Charmaine through a friend of mine. When I read what her and her family was going through and having myself lost someone that was very dear to me a couple of years back, I cannot help but feel compelled to at the very least write something and get the word out in any small way I can.

Charmaine is 3 years and 7 months old and she's suffering from a rare form of cancer known as neuroblastoma. While a little girl at her age would probably be walking and running around, discovering all the wonders of the world around her, unfortunately Little Charmaine has to learn to fight for her own life. You can read more about her from her blog or simply click at the image below. Little Charmaine is also on Facebook.

Robert & Jackie

Yet another wedding at the Raffles Hotel but this time it was the Presidential Suite. A very small and private wedding. There were only 5 of us for most part of the day, photographer inclusive. But small does not necessarily mean it is any less fun. There were lots of banter, laughter and the convivial atmosphere certainly adds to the camaraderie. And Robert & Jackie had an interesting way of communicating with each other - a whistle and notes written on pieces of papers since they were not supposed to see each other before the wedding.

Errol & Lesley

An opportunity to photograph a friend's wedding is such a privilege and rare treat for me. The emotion always seems more real and the feelings so involving as someone close to you is embarking on an important journey in their life; and I was in some small way part of it. Errol and Lesley had their pet cat Limpet as their ring bearer. In many ways, having a cat as a ring bearer is no different from asking a 5 year old boy to be one. Things will turn out totally unexpected. Limpet turned into a "runaway ring bearer" but was hauled back to carry out his originally designated duty.

Nikhil & Jessica

Some people say it looks like a microphone. The older folks call it the "durian". Whatever the resemblance, everybody knows where and what the Esplanade is, the premier arts and performance center in the island city of Singapore. And what better place to marvel at the grandeur of this iconic landmark other than the Executive Suite of the Fullerton Hotel, a building with an equally illustrious history that dates back to 1924. A sunny day with cool breeze and a view that is second to none, it was simply a perfect day to celebrate such a joyous occasion.
